Smellyfish is the brainchild of Amy Griffiths, formed in 2007 with the view to providing the highest quality tailored clothing using only ethically sourced and environmentally friendly materials.
For far too long workers have been treated almost as slaves, working twice the hours of what we consider normal for a minute fraction of the wage. And why do they allow this? Because no other work is available, they have a dilemma, take the lowest of wages and survive or take nothing and starve.
These workers make fantastic products and now have the voice of the conscious west to help them get a fair pay for their labours.
A change is happening in the UK, Europe and the wider communities, a change that is going to affect the whole global market.
